SUGGESTED USES

1. Relaxing Bath Soak

Epsom salts have been added to baths as a relaxing soak since first being discovered in Epsom in the UK many years ago. The high magnesium content is considered responsible for this action. Epsom salts baths can be used as part of your evening sleep enhancing routine, post work-out soak or in a detox bath soak. Adding a few drops of your favourite essential oil can enhance your enjoyment.

Traditionally used to soothe the body's aches and pains.

Add a little Epsom salts to childrens' baths to help them enjoy a good night's sleep.

Try adding upto a cup of Epsom salts to a hot/warm bath and soak for around 20 minutes.

2. Splinter Removal

An old trick. Make a strong solution of warm water and Epsom salts and soak the area with the splinter for around 10 minutes. The splinter should then come out easily and without so much pain.

3. Magnesium Foot Soak

Give your poor tired feet a treat! Fill a small 'foot sized' bowl with water as hot as you feel comfortable with. Dissolve a cup of Epsom salts in it and sit comfortably for a while. Very relaxing..

4. Salt Scrub

Epsom salts is a magnesium-rich alternative to regular salt in any of your salt-scrub recipes.

5. Around the Home

Don't forget you can also use Epsom salts around the home for various cleaning jobs. Find recipes on line.
