Organic & Sourdough Bread
We have fresh organic bread delivered every week.
This is really good bread made with care from quality ingredients, with the added extra quality of the time taken by the bakers.
Many people are aware of the government intervention forcing additives into white and wholemeal wheat flour - well the way to keep your bread free of added synthetic vitamins like calcium carbonate, iron, niacin (Vitamin B3), and thiamin (Vitamin B1), with folic acid being introduced at the end of 2026 - is to buy bread made with spelt or rye flours - these are exempt.
The majority of our breads are sourdoughs, made using a slow fermentation process, which we believe improves the digestibility and flavour of the bread and also the life of the loaf. These sourdough breads are made slowly, as they should be, with a 48 hour ferment.

We would need your order by 10am on Friday morning for collection from Tuesday morning.

This bread is delivered fresh every Tuesday. It has great keeping qualities and freezes very well.
We also keep a range of sliced long-life breads in the European style, made with rye flour.
